The daily development of a newborn is a dazzling spectacle for parents. However, this period of rapid growth can also bring its share of minor discomforts, among which skin irritations are common but, fortunately, solvable.
The Power of Natural Ingredients: As my newborn's skin began showing signs of irritation, I decided to add a small amount of our LUXE Pomade for porous hair to our usual cream. Why? Simply because of the well-known properties of the organic ingredients that make up this balm. Here are a few:
- Moringa Oil: Its antimicrobial and antioxidant virtues make it an ally against irritations.
- Shea Butter: Known for its incredible moisturizing and soothing properties.
- Calendula Oil: Accelerates healing while moisturizing.
- Sunflower Oil: A rich source of vitamin E, deeply moisturizing the skin.
- Castor Oil: Soothes inflammation thanks to its antimicrobial properties.
It's no wonder this balm helped my baby's skin. Here's my recipe and a bonus tip:
Magical Recipe and Bonus Tips:
Simple Recipe for Soothing the Skin: Integrate 5 to 10% of our LUXE Pomade into your regular cream. For 100g of cream, gently add and mix 5 to 10g of the pomade, previously warmed for better blending. You'll discover an immediate soothing solution for your baby's skin.
Additional Tips for Complete Care:
- For older children (3 years+): Enhance the cream with a few drops of Ho Wood and Geranium essential oils for their skin benefits.
- Inflammation Reduction: Floral waters of chamomile, rose, and lavender are your allies. Use them alone or combined to soothe the skin before applying the cream.
Important Note: Of course, this is not medical advice, and we always recommend consulting a professional if you are concerned about your little one's skin as it adapts to its new environment.
