Hair bullying
Creative arts therapy workshop
This workshop, led by a psychotherapist and creative arts therapist, will offer children a caring space to take ownership and celebrate their natural hair. Through fun activities and enriching discussions, we will address the theme of hair bullying, a reality that many children experience at school. They will leave with concrete tools to respond to these situations while strengthening their confidence and pride in their identity.
Objectives:
1. Cultivate a love of hair: Help children see their natural hair as a source of pride and a valuable part of their identity.
2. Express and explore their identity: Provide a safe space where they can discover their unique qualities while celebrating their individuality.
3. Strengthen self-confidence in the face of hair bullying:Provide practical tools to respond to remarks or mockery, while consolidating their self-esteem.
4. Share and learn from others:Create a space for exchange where children can share their experiences, support each other and develop their social understanding.
Come with:
- Clean and detangled hair
- A good detangling brush
- A satin lined bonnet
- A full stomach - had dinner!
- A big smile!
